Standard EN 12845 relates to fixed firefighting systems (Automatic sprinkler systems – Design, installation and maintenance).
Standard EN 12845 specifies the requirements and provides recommendations for the design, installation and maintenance of fixed sprinkler-type firefighting systems in buildings and industrial facilities, as well as specific requirements for sprinkler-type systems included in personal protection measures.
In France, this standard is particularly used in public access buildings such as department stores, shopping centres and car parks.
