Water-Based Fire Protection Systems
NFPA 25 is a standard for the inspection, testing and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems.
NFPA 25 sets out the minimum requirements relating to the methods of inspection, testing and maintenance for water-based fire protection systems, including applications on land and at sea.
NFPA 25 applies notably to the following types of system: sprinklers, standpipes and hoses, fixed water sprays and foam water. The water supplies integrated into these systems are also concerned. The standard also deals with the processing and recording of interruptions.
